Reflection

In Revelation, God declares, “Behold, I make all things new” (Revelation 21:5).

This renewal begins when we put our faith in Jesus—we become a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), and God begins His reign in our hearts.

One day, Christ will return to rule the earth with perfect justice and righteousness, before God ultimately brings forth a new heaven and a new earth. What a glorious hope: we, as believers, will reign with Christ in resurrected bodies— free from sickness, decay, death, and every effect of the curse.

Until then, we live as citizens of His kingdom, bearing witness to His transforming power.

Prayer

Lord God, thank You that You are making all things new — beginning with us. Reign in our hearts today, shape our lives by Your kingdom, and help us to live in hope as citizens of heaven until Christ returns in glory. Amen.
